What’s the best time to visit Beijing? I heard winter is very cold, and summer is hot—are spring or autumn better?

Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October) are indeed the best times to visit Beijing. Temperatures are mild (15–25°C), and the weather is generally clear—perfect for exploring the Great Wall or strolling in hutongs. Summer (June–August) can be hot and humid, while winter (December–February) is cold (often below 0°C) but less crowded, with beautiful snow scenes at the Forbidden City.
