Welcome to Chengdu, which is known as the "Land of Abundance". After Arriving in Chengdu, you will experience the unique charm of the city.
Our professional tour guide will meet you at the airport arrival and transfer you to your hotel for rest.
The rest of the day is free time. If you want to wander around, you can find a tour guide and your guide will give you some good suggestions.
1. Take a stroll down Chunxi Road and have some snacks.
2. Face - changing of Sichuan Opera is one of the most famous local shows and you can ask guide to buy tickets for you.
3. Take a walk around Chengdu on your own to experience Chengdu's residential life.
After breakfast, head to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the world’s largest panda conservation and research center. Amidst lush bamboo groves, watch playful pandas munch on bamboo shoots or climb trees. Visit the Moon Nursery to see adorable newborn panda cubs curled up like fluffy dumplings—a heartwarming sight.
At noon, proceed to Wenshu Monastery, a thousand-year-old Buddhist temple named “Empty Forest,” which houses relics of Xuanzang’s skull. After a light vegetarian meal at the monastery’s canteen, catch a Sichuan Opera face-changing performance at its teahouse to witness this UNESCO-listed intangible cultural heritage.
In the afternoon, stroll through Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. Chunxi Road merges century-old brands with trendy flagship stores, while Taikoo Li seamlessly integrates Sichuan-style eaves with modern glass facades. Explore the dome-shaped book tower at Fangsuo Commune or the Tang Dynasty-era Daci Temple hidden within the bustling商圈 (commercial district), where tradition meets modernity.
Recommended activities:
Overnight in Chengdu. We recommend experiencing live folk music at Jiuyanqiao Bar Street or indulging in a spicy hotpot feast for a late-night treat.
Start your morning at People’s Park. At the century-old Heming Teahouse, amidst bamboo chairs and wooden tables, watch tea masters pour water with long-spouted copper kettles while savoring fragrant jasmine tea. Nearby, the matchmaking corner overflows with resumes—a vivid snapshot of Chinese-style matchmaking.
In the afternoon, visit Jinli Ancient Street, known as “West Sichuan’s First Street.” Rooted in Three Kingdoms culture, red lanterns illuminate stalls selling Zhangfei Beef and Ye’erba (sticky rice cakes). Watch a shadow puppet performance of Three Heroes Battling Lu Bu or pose for a Hanfu photo in front of the Unity Pavilion.
In the late afternoon, take a high-speed train to Guiyang (approx. 3.5 hours). As the train winds through karst peaks shrouded in mist, it feels like gliding into a traditional Chinese ink painting. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and refresh your palate with a bowl of sour fish soup to gear up for tomorrow’s journey into southeastern Guizhou.
After breakfast, we'll depart from Guiyang and head towards Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village via the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway and then the Kaili-Leishan Expressway. The journey takes approximately 3 hours.
Note for independent travelers: If you prefer to travel on your own, you can take the high-speed train from Guiyang North Station to Kaili South Station, which takes about 40 minutes and costs around 58.5 yuan. Upon arrival at Kaili South Station, you can take the direct shuttle bus to the North Gate of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and costs around 25 yuan.
Once we arrive at the scenic area, we'll take the sightseeing bus to the observation deck. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Miao village. As the sun begins to set, the village transforms into a magical sight. The stilted houses, layer upon layer, are illuminated by lights, creating a picture-perfect scene.
In the morning, the village is shrouded in mist, making it look like a fairyland. After enjoying the view from the observation deck, we'll walk down the mountain, passing by the No. 1 Wind and Rain Bridge. Along the riverbank, you can take in the peaceful and rustic atmosphere of the Miao village.
The Miao village in the morning has a different kind of charm. As the mist lingers, it creates an otherworldly atmosphere. We suggest getting up early and wandering freely through the village. You can stroll along the riverbank again, feeling the tranquility and simplicity of the place.
If you're interested in traditional handicrafts like batik or silverware making, you can choose to participate in some in-depth experiences. Our guide will also be happy to offer you some reasonable suggestions.
After lunch, we'll depart from Xijiang Miao Village and head towards Qingyan Ancient Town. Qingyan Ancient Town is a well-preserved ancient town with a history of over 600 years. It was an important military fortress in ancient times. As you walk through the town's narrow alleys, you'll see ancient buildings with unique architectural styles, including Ming and Qing Dynasty residences, temples, and pavilions. The town's stone-paved streets, traditional shops, and local snacks all add to its charm. You can also visit the ancient city walls and gates, which offer a glimpse into the town's past as a defensive stronghold.
After visit, we can take a 1.5 hours high-speed railway to Guilin. We will see the special karst landmark on the way. Our driver will wait for you at the railway station and transfer to hotel. Have a good rest and expect the forthcoming sightseeing.
After breakfast, prepare for a day of breathtaking scenery as you embark on a scenic boat cruise on the Li River. This picturesque journey will take you through stunning landscapes adorned with towering karst mountains, lush greenery, and serene waters. Keep your camera ready, as each bend of the river reveals new natural wonders.
Following the cruise, visit the enchanting Silver Cave, known for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Take your time to explore the cave's beautiful formations and learn about its geological significance.
If you're interested in a cultural experience, be sure to inform your guide in advance about attending the Impression Liu Sanjie performance, an outdoor musical spectacle that showcases the region's culture and natural beauty through stunning visuals and local music.
For dinner, indulge in a traditional Guilin cuisine experience at a local restaurant. Try dishes such as Sour Fish Soup or Guilin Rice Noodles, accompanied by seasonal vegetables. Enjoy the warm atmosphere and flavors of the region as you reflect on your day of exploration.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for an unforgettable adventure on the Yulong River. Experience the tranquility of bamboo rafting, gently gliding along the clear waters while surrounded by stunning karst landscapes. This serene ride offers a unique perspective of the natural beauty that characterizes this region, making it perfect for relaxation and photography.
After your rafting experience, it's time for some excitement as you hop on a bike to explore the Ten-Mile Gallery. This scenic cycling route takes you through picturesque countryside, charming villages, and breathtaking views of rice paddies and limestone peaks. Enjoy the fresh air and the sights along the way, stopping at viewpoints to capture the stunning landscapes.
In the afternoon, after returning to Guilin. We will have a short visit in Guilin center, like Elephant Trunk Hill, located at the intersection of the Li River and the Taohua River, it is one of the symbols of Guilin's landscape and a landmark attraction in Guilin City. It is named because its mountain shape resembles a giant elephant stretching its nose to suck water from the river
Take a flight to Beijing in the morning (about 2.5 hours). When the plane flies through the clouds and overlooks the vast land of the North China Plain, the magnificent atmosphere of the capital is already faintly visible.
After arriving in Beijing, you can freely arrange activities according to your personal interests:

Sanlitun Taikoo Li: a gathering place for designer buyers, Internet celebrity desserts and global food. When the neon lights are lit at night, order a cup of "Jing A" craft beer with fried noodles and hamburgers to experience the mixed fashion of the imperial capital.
Relaxation:
Beihai Park boating: You can rent a lotus-shaped boat, pass through the Yong'an Bridge, and watch the weeping willows on the shore gently brushing the water.
Yangmeizhuxie Street: the Republic of China bookstore, independent ceramic studio and Japanese tea shop in the alley, order a pot of jasmine tea, and look through the old Beijing photo album.

Mutianyu Great Wall: After breakfast, head to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Enjoy breathtaking views as you walk along this historic structure.
You will take an easy cable car up to the Great Wall. Next you will climb up to the city tower overlooking the majestic Great Wall, which will surely make your stay unforgettable. After the Great Wall tour, we will take the cable car down the mountain.
(Note: If you are physically fit, you can also choose to hike up and down the mountain to feel the sense of accomplishment of climbing to the top).
Olympic Sites: On your return to Beijing, take a moment to admire the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Center) from the outside, marveling at their unique designs.
