3. What meals are included?

Lunches listed in the itinerary are included—either buffet or set menus in clean and reliable restaurants. Dinners are usually not included, giving you the freedom to try local specialties (The tour guide can offer suggestions). Dinner is included if you're joining a Yangtze River Cruise.

4. What about the tour guides?

Each city will have a local English-speaking guide who will accompany you throughout the day. There is no tour guide onboard the Yangtze River Cruise.

5. How are children charged?

Hotel: If a child occupies a bed, they will be charged the same as an adult. If sharing a bed with parents, the price is the total group cost minus the single room supplement. Children over 1.2 meters tall may be charged additional hotel meal fees. Attractions: All ticket discounts for children will be refunded accordingly.

6. What's the latest I can book?

Most tours can be booked up to 7 days before departure. Yangtze River Cruise tours should be booked at least 15 days in advance (late bookings may not be available). Tibet tours must be booked at least 25 days in advance to allow time for the Tibet Entry Permit.

Our group tours require a minimum of 6 travelers to depart, with a maximum of 12 people per group. Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return. I’ve heard the Forbidden City is huge. Do we get to see all the main spots on Day 2, or just a few?
Answered by intotravelchina | July 15,2025 16:20
On Day 2, you’ll get to explore the main highlights of the Forbidden City, which is a vast complex with over 980 buildings. While it’s impossible to see every single corner in one visit, our itinerary ensures you experience its most iconic spots—such as the Hall of Supreme Harmony (the imperial throne room), the Hall of Central Harmony, the Hall of Preserving Harmony, and the Inner Court areas that offer insight into imperial life.
