After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven about 2 hours from Chengdu to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Leshan Giant Buddha. 

It is 71 meters high, with ears as long as 7 meters, the backs of its feet as wide as 8.5 meters, and even its little fingernails are higher than those of a normal person. This giant Buddha was built in 713 A.D., and is a symbol of the ancient people's prayers for peace and prosperity, and protects boatmen from the dangers of the rapids.

You can start from the hill next to the Giant Buddha and climb up to the head of the Buddha to see it up close, then walk down the stone steps to the foot of the Buddha to enjoy the full view of it.

Next, we drove to Wuhou Shrine, which is known as the "mecca of the Three Kingdoms" The most venerated memorial of Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and other important Shu Han individuals.
