Walk across the marble bridges, marvel at the golden-roofed Hall of Supreme Harmony, and imagine the bustling court life that once filled these grand courtyards. Today you’ll conquer one of the New Seven Wonders of the World — the Great Wall of China. Your driver will take you to the Mutianyu section, known for being less crowded than Badaling and offering breathtaking scenery with fewer tourists. This well-preserved stretch winds dramatically across mountain ridges dotted with 20 watchtowers. Here’s where the fun really begins: after climbing up via chairlift, you’ll have the option to ride a toboggan down from the wall — an exhilarating five-minute slide through forested slopes that adds an unforgettable thrill to your historical adventure. On your return to Beijing, make a stop to view the National Stadium, better known as the Bird’s Nest from the 2008 Olympics. Its striking steel lattice exterior is a masterpiece of modern architecture.

Upon arrival, explore Daci’en Temple, a Buddhist sanctuary originally built in the Tang Dynasty. Inside, the towering Giant Wild Goose Pagoda rises gracefully — a seven-story brick structure where the legendary monk Xuanzang (the real-life inspiration for “Journey to the West”) translated Buddhist scriptures he brought back from India. As evening falls, wander through Tang City, a lively cultural zone that recreates the splendor of Xi’an’s golden age. Traditional architecture, lantern-lit streets, and occasional costumed performers make you feel as if you’ve stepped into a Tang Dynasty scroll painting.

Take a quiet moment to absorb the grandeur of this ancient army. In the afternoon, walk or cycle along Xi’an’s Ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved fortifications in China. As the sun begins to set, head to the Muslim Quarter — a sensory explosion of sizzling skewers, hand-pulled noodles, and sweet rose-scented rice cakes. Sample local favorites like roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) and biang biang noodles. Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
