  • Modern Tram Ride & Old Xiguan Charms -- Pearl River Night Views (Optional)
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

Morning: Experience a unique slice of Guangzhou's public life by riding the modern Haizhu Tram. This sleek, low-noise streetcar glides along the Pearl River, offering a ground-level view of the city's futuristic towers blending with old neighborhoods. Alight at Yongqing Fang, a revitalized alleyway district where the city's Lingnan architecture shines. It's a living postcard: grey bricks, carved eaves, and the faint echo of Cantonese opera rehearsals drifting from the windows above. Right in the heart of this area is the Cantonese Opera Museum. More than just artifacts, the museum allows you to stand right under the stage of an actual heritage theater and feel the resonance of this 300-year-old art form.

Afternoon/Evening: End the day with a photo stop at the Canton Tower (Exterior) , the iconic "Slim Waist" of the city skyline. As dusk falls, you have the option for a Pearl River Night Cruise. Watching the kaleidoscope of LED lights dance across the water from a boat deck is the quintessential Guangzhou evening—loud, bright, and wonderfully overwhelming.

  • Qingyuan Canyon Adrenaline & Karst ATV Off-Road Adventure
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

Morning: Leave the city behind for the lush mountains of Qingyuan. You'll head straight to Gulong Gorge, a place where the jungle canopy seems to swallow the sky. Here, a friendly Go-Kart competition awaits to get your pulse racing before you step onto the Glass Bridge. Spanning a dizzying height above the roaring waterfall and deep green gorge, this transparent walkway is not for the faint-hearted. The view is surreal—you're walking on air with nothing but mist and treetops below.

Afternoon: The adventure shifts gears as you travel to the Yingxi Fenglin (Peak Forest) . This is the less-crowded, wilder cousin of Guilin's famous karst scenery. Swap the car for an ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) . You'll rumble down dirt tracks slicing through emerald rice paddies, with jagged limestone towers jutting up dramatically on either side. It's a dusty, exhilarating way to immerse yourself in rural Chinese geography.

  • High-Speed Train to Guiyang -- Evening at Jiaxiu Pavilion & Food Hunt
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel

Your private driver ensures a seamless transfer to Guangzhou South Station for the High-Speed Train to Guiyang (approx. 4 hours). Watch the subtropical greenery of Guangdong morph into the rolling, misty hills of Guizhou province. Upon arrival in the "Forest City," your Guiyang driver meets you for a restful hotel check-in.

Evening Recommendation: Head to the iconic Jiaxiu Pavilion. This ancient tower seems to float on the Nanming River, its triple-tiered eaves glowing like molten gold after sunset. The surrounding area is a gastronomic battlefield—this is the home of Suan Tang Yu (Sour Soup Fish). The red, bubbling broth is both spicy and tangy, a perfect cure for any travel fatigue.

  • Ancient Fortress Walls & The Thundering Veil of Huangguoshu Waterfall
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

Morning: Meet your guide for a journey to Qingyan Ancient Town. Built from rough-hewn stone slabs, this was once a formidable Ming Dynasty military fortress. The main street is a sensory overload: shops selling rose candy, cured pig trotters hanging like musical instruments, and the sound of chili being pounded in a mortar.

Afternoon: Prepare for the main event: Huangguoshu Waterfall. This is Asia's largest waterfall, and you're doing the full circuit. You'll wander the maze-like paths of Tianxingqiao, stand breathless at the edge of the main Great Waterfall viewing platform, and finally, step inside Water Curtain Cave. Here, you are behind 77 meters of roaring white water. The world shakes, the spray soaks your face, and the sheer force of nature is palpable in your chest. A final stop at Doupotang (the widest fall) completes this hydrological pilgrimage before returning to Guiyang.

  • The Thousand-Household Kingdom of Miao Legends
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel

Today is a deep dive into ethnography. Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is the largest Miao minority settlement on earth, a city of wooden stilt houses stacked up a steep green valley like a thousand-tiered cake. As you climb the cobbled lanes, you'll see women in elaborate silver headdresses and indigo-dyed skirts. Don't just look—taste. Try the sticky rice cake (ciba) being hammered with a heavy wooden mallet in a rhythmic dance. The panoramic view from the top observation deck, where the entire village cascades down the slope beneath you, is a moment of pure travel wonder before you return to the modern calm of Guiyang for the night.

  • Bullet Train to Shangrao & The Night of Molten Iron Magic
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

A morning transfer to the station for a High-Speed Train to Shangrao (approx. 6.5 hours). This is a long ride through the heart of inland China—a perfect opportunity to edit photos or simply watch the changing landscape. Upon arrival, your Shangrao guide sweeps you away to Wunvzhou Resort. This is not your ordinary resort; it is a fantasy kingdom built around a lake and canals. Tonight is special. As darkness falls, find a spot by the water for the Dashuhua (Molten Iron Fireworks) performance—a national intangible cultural heritage. A blacksmith throws ladles of 1,600°C molten iron against the cold city wall, and the sky erupts in a shower of gold and silver sparks. It's a dangerous, ancient, and breathtakingly beautiful welcome.

  • Cliffside Plank Walks in Wangxian Valley -- A Wuxia Novel Come to Life

Your driver drops you at Wangxian Valley for a day of independent exploration. Have you ever wanted to step into a wuxia martial arts film? This is it. Wooden guesthouses and pavilions cling impossibly to the vertical cliff faces of a deep gorge, connected by suspension bridges and winding paths that hug the rock. Spend the day getting lost on these vertiginous trails. As the sun sets, the entire gorge illuminates with warm lantern light, turning the white-water river below into a ribbon of ink and gold. You have the freedom to linger as long as you like to capture that perfect shot of the mystical "floating" village.

  • Bullet Train to Shanghai & The Quiet Lanes of Zhujiajiao Water Town
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

A morning bullet train whisks you from the mountains of Jiangxi to the supercity of Shanghai. But instead of skyscrapers first, your guide takes you to Zhujiajiao Water Town. This is the antidote to the fast-paced travel day. With ancient stone bridges arching over narrow canals, this "Venice of Shanghai" is best seen from the water. Consider taking the optional Sculling Boat Ride; the wooden boat creaks as the oarswoman pushes off the bank, and you glide silently under low eaves and weeping willows. Back in the city center, your evening explores the futuristic 1,000 Trees building and the leafy, historic concessions of Wukang Road and Sinan Road, where plane trees canopy the Art Deco mansions.

  • Ming Dynasty Gardens & The Top of the World's Third Tallest Tower
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel

Morning: Step back in time at Yu Garden and City God Temple Bazaar. Amidst the jostling crowds hunting for soup dumplings and tea, the garden itself is an exquisite 400-year-old rockery maze. Look for the exquisite "Exquisite Jade Rock"—it's a bizarre, beautiful 5-ton porous stone that took all of human ingenuity to place here.

Afternoon: Cross the river to Lujiazui, the financial heart of Pudong. Your journey culminates with an elevator ride up the World's Third Tallest Building (Shanghai Tower). The ascent is rapid; the view from the observation deck is eternal. The entire megacity—the historic Bund, the winding Huangpu River, the distant suburbs—sprawls below like a vast, glittering circuit board. An optional Huangpu River Night Cruise offers a contrasting, low-angle perspective of this immense vertical city.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
